MFA Incorporated is a cooperative built by farmers for farmers. Our board of directors, all MFA farmer/owners, keeps us in tune with the needs of our more than 45,000 members. Sales include a battery of performance products such as MFA feed. We are a primary manufacturer of livestock feed, holding a major market share within our trade territory. We’re also suppliers and marketers of plant food and crop protection products. Our fertilizer terminals on the Mississippi River, as well as facilities on the Missouri and Arkansas rivers, help us get products to our members efficiently. And continued expansion helps bring our commodities to a larger market. Over the years, we have developed business relationships with major crop protection companies, making MFA a full line supplier of name brand products for all the major row crops and most specialty crops. Combined, our core business, subsidiaries and joint ventures deliver sales of about one billion dollars annually. We are committed to providing our employees with continuous training to keep them at the forefront of the industry. Moreover, our frontline local Agri Services Center employees are supported by a staff of agronomists, veterinarians, nutritionists, engineers and financial consultants at our corporate office in Columbia, Mo. They are just a phone call away and make frequent visits to the country in support of local operations. At MFA we still live by the principles set forth by our founder William Hirth.
