Alison Gerzina Foster is the Coordinator for Government Affairs and Communications at the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, in which she manages the organization’s social media strategy and assists in the creation and implementation of communication strategies, provides support during the preparation for yearly conferences and meetings, and coordinates with and provides support to the policy team to help achieve the organization’s member driven policy agenda. Prior to joining NCFC, Alison worked in Communications and Member Relations for the Education Finance Council.

Alison earned her B.S. in Media and Communications from Florida State University and an M.A. in Philosophy and International Affairs from American University. A Florida native who migrated north to escape the year-round heat and humidity of home, she currently lives in Falls Church, Virginia with her husband, Alex.
