Janet Peterson is the Executive Assistant, Legal, Tax & Accounting and Treasurer, NCFC CO-OP/PAC at the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives. In her current role, Janet helps organize and facilitate LTA’s meetings and conferences, she also implements continuing education credits on member’s behalf. In addition, Janet is Treasurer of the NCFC CO-OP/PAC and manages the financial reporting, fund raising events and FEC compliance filings. Janet comes to NCFC with over 20 years of C-suite administrative support and office management.

Before joining NCFC, Janet provided executive support to the managing partner for a trade association in Washington, DC; in addition, she was the office manager coordinating the monthly A/P and A/R accounts, administering payroll and ensuring licensing/permitting with DCRA for building compliance.

Janet grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and later moved to the north-side of the city. She’s a graduate of DePaul University and a life-long Cubs fan who now resides in Arlington, VA with her family.
